WBSC reveals MVP, All-World Team during U-15 Women's Softball World Cup Closing Ceremony
WBSC Secretary General, Beng Choo Low, addressed the attendees during the Closing Ceremony of the WBSC U-15 Women's Softball World Cup 2025.
"Congratulations and thank you to the players and the coaches from all the participating teams," said the WBSC Secretary General. Your performances have shone a light on the outstanding talent we have in U-15 women's softball from all around the world. Most importantly, you showcased how much fun it is to play softball and how much of an honour it is to represent your country or region."
"A special thank you to Caronno Pertusella, Legnano and to Italy for the warm welcome and hospitality. On behalf of the WBSC, I would like to thank and recognise the umpires, scorers, technical commissioners and staff for their service to our sport. And a big thank you to the volunteers."
Japan's Mioka Mochizuki earned MVP honours.
"I must thank my coaching staff. They taught me everything I know. It's thank to them that I could accomplish this."
Mochizuki had an outstanding .625 batting average and didn't commit a defensive error.

Since your head coach [Yu Yamamoto] has been an Olympic gold medallist and you spoke to her as your mentor, would you say that Olympic gold is your ultimate goal?
"I want to be like my head coach, I share the same goal and ambition."
