Morning Briefing: Mets Turn the Page on Rough June

0 7

Good morning, Mets fans!

The Mets begin a six-game homestand tonight against the Brewers. The pitching matchup will be Freddy Peralta (8-4, 2.90 ERA) vs. Clay Holmes (8-4, 2.97 ERA).

After a tough month of June, ending with a series sweep at the hands of Pittsburgh, the Mets are hoping a home-cooked meal can be the magic ingredient they need to turn things around. They’ve lost 13 of their last 16 games.

After the three-game set versus the Brewers, the crosstown rivals Yankees will visit Citi Field.
