Important Dates for New and Returning ALC Students

Students, we hope you are having a great summer! We have been hard at work preparing for your arrival to campus to begin the fall semester. Below, you will find some important dates to mark on your calendar along with some brief information on each event. Remember to check your student for updates and more information. Also, new students will receive mobile messages from our Admissions team throughout the summer.

July 12th: Saturday, July 12th is Summer Orientation for new ALC students. At Summer Orientation, incoming students will receive information such as their fall schedules and account log ins. Booths with information about ALC athletic teams, clubs, and academic majors will be set up in the Perry Campus Center during the event alongside staff members from Financial Aid, Admissions, Registration, Student Services, and Academics.
This event is a great opportunity for students to meet faculty and staff members– such as coaches, professors, and deans– and to get another look at our wonderful campus. 
July 24th: Students will receive housing information around this date.
August 15th: Friday, August 15th is early registration for the fall semester. This is an opportunity for students to beat the crowds and complete the registration process early.
August 16th: Returning students may move into the dorms on Saturday, August 16th.
August 17th: New students may move into the dorms on Sunday, August 17th.
August 18th: Students who have not already completed registration may do so on Monday, August 18th.
August 19th: Classes will begin on Tuesday, August 19th.
August 26th: Tuesday, August 26th is the last to register for, add, and drop classes for the 2025 fall semester.

Students, remember to check your email and messages frequently as we get closer to beginning the fall semester. Also, be on the lookout for an updated version of this article containing information about the first week of the fall semester (the article will be posted no later than the week of August 11-15).
