  • Bryce Harper (right wrist inflammation)
  • Status: 10-day injured list
  • Harper was placed on the injured list with right wrist inflammation on Saturday, June 7, retroactive to Friday, June 6.
  • Manager Rob Thomson hopes Harper progresses to taking batting practice in the cages on either Tuesday or Wednesday, June 25. Does he need a certain amount of swings before returning to the lineup? Not necessarily. “I think there’s gonna be a day at some point where he says ‘I’m ready to go.’” – Last updated on June 22 by Destiny Lugardo

  • Aaron Nola (stress fracture in right rib)
  • Status: 60-day injured list
  • Aaron Nola’s puzzling stint on the injured list has continued with no clear end in sight. After originally being sidelined with a sprained right ankle in May, Nola now has a stress fracture on the right side of his ribcage, the pitcher clarified. Phillies manager Rob Thomson initially announced the injury as a stress reaction.
  • Nola played catch in the batting cages on Sunday, June 22. The Phillies are hoping he can play catch outside “from a distance” on Tuesday, June 24.
  • Nola was placed on the 60-day injured list on June 19. He is expected back during the second half of the season. – Last updated on June 22 by Destiny Lugardo
