Max Kranick Placed on IL, Dedniel Núñez Recalled
The Mets have placed Max Kranick on the 15-day injured list due to a right elbow strain and made some additional bullpen adjustments ahead of Thursday’s series finale against the Braves.

Ty Adcock was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse after his outing on Wednesday. Adcock pitched an inning against Atlanta, his second outing in a week.
Dedniel Núñez and Justin Hagenman will take those two spots on the roster. It was reported by Mike Puma of the New York Post earlier on Thursday that Hagenman is part of the plan to fill in for Tylor Megill‘s rotation spot against the Phillies on Friday. It is possible that he will be used after an opener makes that start.
If that were to happen, it would be Hagenman’s second appearance in the big leagues this season, and an identical usage to his first outing. The righty pitched 3 1/3 innings against the Twins on April 16, giving up just a single run, coming in after Huascar Brazoban threw a scoreless first inning.
