Rays 3, Blue Jays 1: The Caminero Show
Junior Caminero slugs a 3-run homer in the first for all of Tampa Bay’s runs
Same score as last night, same results.
Junior Caminero provided all of the Rays’ offense this evening, as his three-run blast in the first inning, his ninth on the season, was enough offense to lead Tampa Bay to a 3-1 victory.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. would supplant a Shane Baz slider into the left field pavilion for the Blue Jays’ lone run.
Tonight’s victory secures the Rays’ third straight series win at home, and fifth straight series over Toronto.
Baz went 5 2/3, striking out four and walking three. Garrett Cleavinger and Manny Rodriguez secured holds each, and Pete Fairbanks came on for the save to get the Rays within one game of .500.
Tomorrow’s probables are Ryan Pepiot opposite Chris Bassitt, respectively, with a 1:40 EST first pitch from George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa.
