South Siders try to steal a series win against Space City
Happy Sunday Sox fans, and May the 4th be with you! Today the Chicago White Sox take on the Houston Astros in the finale of this three-game set, as the South Siders look to take the just their second series of the season with a win. After a 2-1 start in the month of May, the team looks to continue any sort of success and build off of some recent good games. Aside from the Jake Meyers show yesterday, let’s see if the team can get back on track.

We have some new roster moves, and new season debut today, as Josh Rojas returns from injury.

Rojas was signed in the offseason and is a solid defensive player with an offensive upside. He was known for his time with the D-Backs and Mariners, and looks to make an impact this year.
Bryse Wilson will be on the mound for the Sox, as he appears for the 12th time this season. Of course he hasn’t started that many times, but with missing pieces of the rotation he looks to eat up the first few innings. Last time out he went 3 1⁄3 innings with two hits, three runs, and three walks.
Lance McCullers Jr. will make his first start since 2022, as this is a big day for both the Astros organization and McCullers himself. A series of injuries has kept him sidelines for the last three years, and his success story has been great to see, as the 31-year-old still has a lot left in the tank.
