Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski and producer Jerry Bruckheimer are reteaming for a UFO conspiracy thriller that's sparking an aggressive bidding war among studios. The two first teamed up for Top Gun: Maverick, which was a massive critical and commercial success that made nearly $1.5 billion at the box office and was nominated for six Academy Awards, including Best Picture and won Best Sound. Kosinski and Bruckheimer reunited for the upcoming F1 movie starring Brad Pitt, which releases in theaters this summer. Now, the duo are reteaming for another project. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kosinski and Bruckheimer are reuniting for a UFO conspiracy thriller that is igniting a bidding war, which is intensifying "quickly and aggressively."
