Mariners 2025 Spring Training Game #26: Open Game Thread
Let’s get our Woo on
After being so kind as to let the team wearing green win on St. Patrick’s Day yesterday, the Mariners are back in Peoria to play host to the former Seattle Pilots for some afternoon baseball.
Dominic Canzone makes an appearance in right as Robles moves over to centerfield. Julio is apparently feeling “under the weather,” according to Circling Seattle Sports, and they’re taking it day-by-day with him. That gives Canzone, who’s fighting to be the first guy off the bench on opening day, a chance to hone his skills.
Julio Rodríguez is still feeling a bit "under the weather," per Seattle Mariners manager Dan Wilson. Wilson says they'll take it "day-by-day" with him, mentioning that what Julio is dealing with has gone through a few guys and "is not something you want" #TridentsUp #SeattleMariners

On the bump, the Mariners are starting Grated Parm himself, Bryan Woo. It’s Woo’s 4th game this spring, so expect his workload to be a little bit higher than it has been so far. The team has kept him on a short leash, only letting him pitch for 7 innings across those three games.
Other Mariners probable pitchers include Andrés Muñoz, Trent Thornton, Tayler Saucedo, Carlos Vargas, and Casey Legumina. Incidentally, Kate got the chance to sit down with Legumina recently, which you can read about here.
First pitch is at 1:10 p.m. PT, and will be broadcast on Seattle Sports 710 AM with Rick Rizzs and Gary Hill Jr. on the call.
