ST Game Recap: Rockies 6, Guardians 4
Kyle Manzardo is ready, though
The Guardians have gotten beat pretty soundly by the NL West the past three days, but it's Spring Training so we don't have to worry. Today, it was the Rockies, perhaps the worst team in MLB, beating them 6-4.
Here are some takeaways:
-Luis Ortiz's pitching has been uneven. There was some good stuff today... and some meatballs. Some good location and some ill-timed walks. My guess is that he will be good but it may take a few weeks for him to really get rolling.
-All Kyle Manzardo (three hits) and Micah Pries (1 dot 5 OPS) do is hit no matter what, what, what.
-Paul Sewald looks like Barlow 2.0.
-Cade Smith was back and solid.
-Parker Mushinski hasn't given up a run all spring for what that is worth.
-Jhonk is still hitting the snot out of baseballs. Daniel Schneemann hit one at 107.3 mph also. He'll definitely have a spot Opening Day, for better or worse.
Spring Breakout game tomorrow!!!
