Spring Training Game Eleven: Seattle Mariners at Kansas City Royals

The hearts and minds of Grass Creek are on the line.

The Battle for Grass Creek moves to Surprise tonight as the Royals and Mariners prepare once again to do battle. The Royals have won two straight to bounce back from a brief rough patch as they pursue a Cactus League title.

Tonight’s lineup could well be a lineup that we see in April. Jonathan India is leading off and playing left field, Michael Massey is playing the keystone and hitting fifth, and Maikel Garcia and Joey Weimer occupy the bottom two spots. Michael Lorenzen will make his Spring Training debut, and some other guys will pitch as well.
