The Cleveland Guardians have officially signed LHP John Means. The rumor mill first reported hints about this signing on Sunday. More information about Means can be read here. To make room on the 40-man roster, David Fry was sent to the 60-day IL. Means will join the club in Arizona.
We have signed free agent LHP John Means to a 2025 Major League contract with a Club Option for 2026.

Additionally, Sam Hentges was added to the 60-day IL to make room on the 40-man roster for Jakob Junis.
