Where will the Cincinnati Reds finish in the NL Central in 2025?
What say you?
The offseason dust has settled, and the Cincinnati Reds are in their spring home in Arizona once again trying to figure out how to do this thing we call ‘baseball’ once more.
Terry Francona is in at manager. Jonathan India is out at 2B.
While many of us dreamed about the Reds acquiring a big bat to bolster the lineup, we’re being asked to stomach Gavin Lux and Austin Hays instead.
For the most part, it seems as if the Reds are approaching the 2025 season the very same way they approached the 2024 season, albeit with sincere hopes that their entire lineup doesn’t explode before Opening Day in the very same way. It’s an admirable double-down, I suppose, as Nick Krall & Co. remain committed to the once-youthful team they built up after the latest firesale circa 2022.
Despite their relative inexperience, though, this Reds team really isn’t that young anymore. That said, most every place that puts together algorithmic projections for the upcoming season sees the Reds as once again being below average within the NL Central despite the division itself being deemed pretty weak.
What say you, though?
Where do you think the Reds will finish in the Central in 2025?
