Celebrating 125 years of South Side baseball

Mark your calendars, South Side enthusiasts! Single-game tickets for the 2025 Chicago White Sox season go on sale to the general public at 2 p.m. CT on Thursday, February 13. If you’re looking to jump the line, White Sox Insider newsletter subscribers get early access at noon. Fans can purchase tickets for Opening Day, the Crosstown Series, and all other games at whitesox.com.

After the disaster, otherwise known as the 2024 season, and an incredibly underwhelming offseason, it’s doubtful that Ticketmaster will have a Taylor Swift-like meltdown on February 13. It’s also unlikely that they sell out any game at all, even the much-hyped home series celebrating the 20th anniversary of the 2005 White Sox World Series Championship team. Although the unveiling of the Mark Buehrle statue on Friday, July 11, might have the best shot at a sell-out.

Based on the social media vibe, until Chicago can put up a string of consecutive winning seasons, many fans seem to have a wait-and-see approach to committing their funds to ticket plans or more than just a few games.

However, let’s give credit where credit is due. The 2025 schedule boasts some exciting promotions.

  • Fan Favorites: Don’t miss the 1920s jersey hoodie giveaway on Saturday, April 12, and the beloved Dog Day on Tuesday, April 29.
  • Bobblehead Bonanza: Eight bobbleheads will be distributed throughout the season, including highly anticipated figures of Dick Allen on Saturday, May 3, and the legendary 1960s owner Bill Veeck on Saturday, August 9.

Finally, if you’re still not ready to sit out this season but have been lax in committing to the club, full, partial, and group ticket packages are available now with flexible payment options and exchange dates. This year, there is also a new Ballpark Pass for $125. You get tickets for all March, April, and May home games. If you don’t mind the cooler weather and lousy baseball, it's a pretty sweet deal. See whitesox.com/seasontickets for details.
