Despite snapping the Chicago White Sox 21-game losing streak with a 5-1 A’s loss last night, the green and gold can still salvage a series victory today in the finale.

Good morning fans and happy hump day!

Coming off of a stellar previous start resulting in a win against the Los Angeles Dodgers, the A’s will hope for some similar luck from Joey Estes today. So far in six home starts this season Estes is 3-0 with a 2.25 ERA as opposed to 2-4 with a 7.47 ERA away from the Coliseum.

Here’s the lineup behind him this afternoon:

Opposing Estes will be 27-year-old righty Davis Martin making just his third start of the season. His previous two never saw him escape the fourth inning as he’s allowed five runs and six walks through six innings thrown this year.
