In the case of the consorts of Queen Marika, they appear to have been able to wield the power of the Elden Ring to an unknown extent.[2]The most ancient known holder of the title is Dragonlord Placidusax, said to have been Elden Lord in the time before the Erdtree.[3] Despite this, Godfrey is referred to as the first Elden Lord[4], being the first consort of Queen Marika.
