WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup Media Accreditation open

<p>Media registration is open for the <a rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup 2024 (opens in a new tab)" href="https://www.wbsc.org/en/events/2024-v-u-23-baseball-world-cup/home" target="_blank">WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup 2024</a>, which will be played at the Shaoxing Baseball and Softball Sports Culture Center, China, from September 6 to 15. The deadline for registration is August 31.</p>

<p>All members of the media, both local/national and international, who plan to cover the U-23 Baseball World Cup must apply for accreditation through the official WBSC Media Accreditation online platform at <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://my.wbsc.org/mediareq/index" target="_blank">https://my.wbsc.org</a>. </p>

<p>The accreditations procedure starts by clicking on <a href="https://my.wbsc.org/mediareq/index" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">MEDIA ACCREDITATIONS</a>. The online request form needs to be completed, also including a headshot.</p>

<p>Once the request is submitted, media members will receive an automated email confirmation that their application has been received. Those media intending to cover the event remotely should contact the WBSC Media Department by writing to <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="mailto:media@wbsc.org" target="_blank">media@wbsc.org</a>.</p>

<p>Another automated message will indicate a "change of status" in the accreditation request.</p>

<p>Media members can check their request status <strong>after the August 31 registration deadline</strong> by accessing my.wbsc.org and clicking <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://my.wbsc.org/mediareq/index" target="_blank">SEARCH FOR YOUR ACCREDITATION</a> on the top right of the page. They will then need to enter their name, last name and email address.</p>

<p>The WBSC will share a protocol for media interviews during the WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup with the accredited media before the tournament opens. </p>

<h3><strong>GUIDELINES FOR NON-RIGHTS HOLDING (“NRH”) MEDIA</strong></h3>

<ul><li>Only rights holders of applicable games may transmit game footage (audio and/or video) of WBSC events.</li><li>NRH media credentials provide access to official training sessions, games, and Opening/Closing Ceremonies.</li><li>Specific categories will grant credentials (i.e., Press, Photographer, Radio and TV, Team Media), and stadium access will be given accordingly.</li><li>Photographers, NRH TV crews, and Team Media will be required to wear WBSC-issued media vests.</li></ul>
