100 Days To Go: Media accreditation open for WBSC Premier12 2024 presented by RAXUS

<p>With 1 August marking 100 days to go to the opening game, <a href="https://my.wbsc.org/mediareq/index">media registration</a> has opened for the <a href="https://www.wbsc.org/en/events/2024-premier12/home">WBSC Premier12 2024 presented by RAXUS</a> due to be played from 9 to 24 November. </p>

<p>World No. 2 Mexico will host Group A from 9-14 November in Guadalajara and Tepic where they will face No. 3 USA, No. 6 Venezuela, No. 7 Netherlands, No. 10 Panama and No. 12 Puerto Rico.</p>

<p>Defending champions and world No. 1 Japan and No. 5 Chinese Taipei will host Group B from 13-18 November in three different venues: the Vantelin Dome Nagoya, Tianmu Stadium and the Taipei Dome in Taipei. They will face No. 4 Korea, No. 8 Cuba, No. 9 Dominican Republic and No. 11 Australia.</p>

<p>The deadline for registration is 1 October. </p>

<p>The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) also confirmed the times of the Super Round games, which take place from 21-23 November at the Tokyo Dome in Japan, will be at 12:00 and 19:00. The finals are scheduled for 24 November.</p>

<p>All members of the media, both local/national and international, who plan to cover the WBSC Premier12 presented by RAXUS must apply for accreditation through the official WBSC Media Accreditation online platform at <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://my.wbsc.org/mediareq/index" target="_blank">https://my.wbsc.org</a>.</p>

<p>The accreditations procedure starts by clicking on <a href="https://my.wbsc.org/mediareq/index" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">MEDIA ACCREDITATIONS</a>. The online request form needs to be completed, also including a headshot.</p>

<p>Once the request is submitted, media members will receive an automated email confirmation that their application has been received. <h3><strong>GUIDELINES FOR NON-RIGHTS HOLDING (“NRH”) MEDIA</strong></h3>

<ul><li>Only rights holders of applicable games may transmit game footage (audio and/or video) of WBSC events.</li><li>NRH media credentials provide access to official training sessions, games, and Opening/Closing Ceremonies.</li><li>Specific categories will grant credentials (i.e., Press, Photographer, Radio and TV, Team Media), and stadium access will be given accordingly.</li><li>Photographers, NRH TV crews, and Team Media will be required to wear WBSC-issued media vests.</li></ul>
