Mexico aiming for historic WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup title

<p>Mexico, who are making their debut in the WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup, placed third in the<a rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="2023 Group A (opens in a new tab)" href="https://www.wbsc.org/en/events/2023-ix-womens-baseball-world-cup-group-a/home" target="_blank"> Group A</a> tournament last year behind USA and Canada. Their lineup combined for a .254 batting average, while their pitchers allowed a 4.74 earned run average.</p>
