Drew Thorpe gets to avoid Randy Arozarena!

It’s Drew Thorpe Day!

There is so little to be excited about this year, but three White Sox starting pitchers are the start and pretty much the end of the list. Erick Fedde came back from overseas and has provided the best WAR on the club. Garrett Crochet is right there behind him. And Drew Thorpe, woo baby, what can you say about this guy making the jump from Double-A and but for one sneeze not missing a beat? I mean, Dylan Cease just threw a no-hitter and Thorpe’s WAR per start is higher!

Seattle struck a sweet trade yesterday for one of the most fun players in the game, Randy Arozarena.

What’s not fun? The White Sox getting to face him for three extra games, after winding up their season vs. Tampa already.

Oh wait, hey, good news, White Sox don’t have to face Randy on Friday:

Home game, game time 7:10 p.m. CT and broadcast in the usual places.
