Updated Information ASA/USA Stamp

OKLAHOMA CITY —The Amateur Softball Association (ASA) of America/USA Softball, the National Governing Body (NGB) of Softball in the U.S., announced today their organizational rename and rebrand to USA Softball and new logo, which will be effectiveJanuary 1, 2017. As the sport of softball continually evolves, focusing on the USA Softball brand better reflects the legacy that ASA/USA Softball has established over its 80 years as the leader in the sport of softball. Pictured above (left) is the new USA Softball logo you’re starting to see on bats and balls. Pictured above (right) is the ASA approval stamp we’ve been seeing on bats for years.As new products arrive and are shipping to customers the older ASA logo seems to be going away. What to keep in mind is this - products with the USA Softball logo are legal for ASA play. Many products once stamped with the ASA logo are now stamped only with the USA Softball logo.
