The draft continues with rounds 3-10 today, beginning at 1 p.m. CT with coverage at MLB.com. Tomorrow the draft concludes with rounds 11-20, again beginning at 1 p.m. CT.

The Royals selected Florida first baseman/pitcher Jac Caglianone with the #6 pick, and drafted left-handed pitcher David Shields out of Mt. Lebanon High School in Pennsylvania with the #41 overall pick in the second round. The Royals will have the second pick in each round, with the following picks today:

Third round - #76 overall (full slot value $1,027,700)

Fourth round - #105 ($696,300)

Fifth round - #138 ($505,000)

Sixth round - #167 ($382,100)

Seventh round - #197 ($297,700)

Eighth round - #227 ($235,900)
