Mariners Game #92: 7/7/24, TOR at SEA
the Mariners try to win their first series in three weeks
Celebrate, for it is the last day of the annual Blue Jays fans invasion. It sure would be nice if the Mariners could come out of today’s game with their first series win since the sweep of the Rangers, which was three weeks ago but feels like it was three months ago.
Lineups:
The Mariners will have to try to win this one without Julio Rodríguez, who remains sidelined with a nagging sore right quad. His MRI came back clean and he could be available to pinch hit if the game demands, but the preference is to stay away from him to give him some solid rest between today and tomorrow’s off-day.

News:
Bryan Woo and Gregory Santos both came out of their rehab outings in Everett last night feeling good. The team is still officially deciding if they’ll make another rehab outing or rejoin the team on this upcoming roadtrip, but all signs point to both of them making the trip to California this week, especially because all of Seattle’s minor-league affiliates are away this week. Gabe Speier will also be on the trip to throw a live BP, and then he’ll begin a rehab assignment after that.
