Ladies’ Night Podcast 5 — A little bit of everything

0 7

The girls chat about robo umpires, a possible AL Central team competing for the Wild Card, hope in the minors, and White Sox killers

In the fifth episode of the Ladies’ Night podcast Hannah LaMotta, Delia Ritchie, Melissa Sage-Bollenbach, and Allie Wesel discuss several topics related to our beloved — or despised, depending on the day — South Siders. Whether you’re a die-hard White Sox fan or not, there’s something for everyone. So, sit back, relax, and grab your favorite beverage because the girls hit a home run chatting about all things baseball, including:

  • The automated ball-strike (ABS) challenge system. What do we think of the two different approaches, and how would it change the game
  • The AL Central teams are actually killing it this year. How did this happen, and will the Sox ever be relevant again
  • A glimpse around the Chicago minor league system. The Birmingham Barons starting rotation is impressive, but does it really mean anything
  • A walk down memory lane regarding players from other teams who absolutely crushed our White Sox souls

The podcast will air bi-monthly, with the next episode dropping in June.
