Starting pitcher Ryan Webb allowed three runs on six hits in 5 2⁄3 innings on three strikeouts and four walks.
Bradley Hanner earned the win with 1 1⁄3 scoreless innings of relief. Jack Leftwich closed out the victory with two innings of perfect relief and a strikeout to earn his third save of the season.

Starting pitcher Juan Zapata allowed two runs on four hits in three innings. He walked two and struck out one.
The star of the pitching staff was Zach Jacobs, who contributed four scoreless innings in a piggyback performance with three strikeouts, one hit allowed and one walk. It might be time to give Jacobs, an 18th round pick in 2022, a shot in the starting rotation. He has a 1.71 ERA on the year in nine appearances spanning 21 innings with 22 strikeouts, just four walks and a 0.71 WHIP.
