ePremier12 Chinese Taipei Qualifier process confirmed; Starts June 8

<p>The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) has announced the ePremier12 Chinese Taipei Qualifier Process, which will include two first-round tournaments and a Finals – all played on WBSC eBASEBALL™: POWER PROS, which was <a href="https://www.wbsc.org/en/news/wbsc-and-konami-team-up-to-release-wbsc-ebaseball-power-pros-on-nintendo-switch-and-playstation">released by Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. </a>(KONAMI) in February 2023 – with two tickets to the inaugural ePremier12 up for grabs.</p>

<p>The first event, the in-person <strong>CTBC Brothers POWER PROS Festival</strong>, will take place on 8 and 9 June at Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium, and the second tournament, the <strong>Chinese Taipei eBaseball™ Cup</strong>, will take place online from 15-21 July.</p>

<p>The first two qualifying tournaments (CTBC Brothers POWER PROS Festival & Chinese Taipei eBaseball™ Cup) will help set the six-player field for the in-person ePremier12 Chinese Taipei Finals, taking place from 21 to 22 September at New Taipei City Esports Base in New Taipei City. One qualifier from the CTBC Brothers POWER PROS Festival and the top five qualifiers from the Chinese Taipei eBaseball™ Cup who reside in Chinese Taipei will take part in the ePremier12 Chinese Taipei Finals, which is staged in partnership with the Chinese Taipei Baseball Association and the Taiwan Little League Baseball Association.</p>

<p>The <strong>ePremier12 Chinese Taipei Finals</strong> will be held in person with two groups of three players. Each group of three will play a mini round-robin with the top two players from each group advancing to the semifinals. The two players who win their semifinal and make it to the Chinese Taipei Finals championship match - which will determine the No. 1 player in Chinese Taipei - will advance to the ePremier12 Opening Round.</p>

<p>New Taipei City Esports Base will also be hosting Group B play in the ePremier12 Opening Round, which will take place from 2 to 3 November. Six of the 12 participants in the ePremier12 will feature in this group, with the top two players punching their ticket to the ePremier12 Super Round in Tokyo, to be held in late November at the Konami Creative Center.</p>
