World Baseball Softball Day: Women's Softball World Cup Finals celebrate with special tickets promotion

<p>The Italian Baseball and Softball Federation (FIBS) announced the launch of a promotion of the <a href="https://www.wbsc.org/en/events/2024-womens-softball-world-cup-finals/home">Women's Softball World Cup Finals</a> to celebrate <a href="https://www.wbsc.org/en/world-baseball-softball-day">World Baseball Softball Day</a>.</p>

<p>FIBS will host the XVII Women's Softball World Cup Finals from 15 to 21 July in Castions di Strada. From one minute after midnight on Friday, 10 May, to 23:59 on Sunday, 12 May, people buying single tickets or daily passes for the event will enjoy a 20% discount. All times are local.</p>

<p>World Baseball Softball Day is making its historic debut on 10 May, marking the 10th anniversary of the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), following the successful merger of the International Baseball Federation and the International Softball Federation in 2014.</p>

<p>From its inception, the WBSC has tirelessly championed the global growth of baseball/softball, encouraging innovation, teamwork and international collaboration and to honour this impressive merger of international baseball and softball under one unified banner, the WBSC Executive Board declared 10 May as the official World Baseball Softball Day.<br></p>
