2024 Silver Sunburst Awards: April edition VOTING

You decide who had the best month of April!

“Sunburst Awards” is a series-by-series evaluation of player performance, where four different awards are given out after each series: Offensive player of the series, defensive player of the series, pitcher of the series, and highlight play of the series. This is the first edition of Silver Sunburst Awards in which readers will vote on who had the best month in the four typical categories.

The Rays finished the month of April with a record of 14-17, and with all the stars and highlights over the last four weeks it’s time for you to vote on who had the best month in all four categories.

Players qualify for Silver Sunburst Awards only if they won a series Sunburst during one of the series this month. Each category will show a video of the player from the series they won said award, and a poll is at the end of each category where YOU decide this months April Silver Sunburst Award winners.

Winning a Silver Sunburst then qualifies that player to win a Golden Sunburst at the end of the year, which will once again be voted on by YOU.

The polls will remain open until May eighth, with the results being published on May ninth, the Rays next available off day.
