  • Darick Hall (torn UCL in right thumb)
  • Status: Activated from 60-day IL on June 19 and optioned to Lehigh Valley
  • Hall was activated from the 60-day injured list on Monday, June 19 and optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley. To make room for him on the 40-man roster, outfielder Dalton Guthrie was designated for assignment. With Kody Clemens playing as well as he has as Hall’s injury replacement at first base, Hall was not guaranteed a spot back on the big league roster.   • Seranthony Domínguez (left oblique strain)
  • Status: 15-day injured list
  • The Phillies announced on Saturday, June 17 that they had placed Domínguez on the 15-day injured list with a left oblique strain. The move is retroactive to June 16. Manager Rob Thomson called the injury “very mild,” adding that the hope is that he’ll be back shortly after his time on the IL wraps up. Yunior Marte has been recalled to replace Domínguez.   • Bryce Harper (recovering from Tommy John surgery)
  • Status: Back as DH, still building up as a thrower to be able to play in the field
  • Alex Coffey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reported on Thursday, June 15 that Bryce Harper is just days away from throwing out from 105 feet. Rob Thomson said Harper is close to practicing fielding in the three-four hole and overhand throws to the pitcher. Harper is expected to be ready to play first base near the end of July.   • Andrew Painter (right UCL sprain) 
  • Status: 60-day MiLB injured list 
  • Andrew Painter began throwing 20-pitch bullpen sessions on Saturday, June 10. He threw another one on Tuesday and is expected to throw again on Friday, June 16, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. “We’re ways away,” Thomson said on June 10 when asked if there was any update on a timeline for a return. The Phillies say they expect Painter to pitch for the big league club this year, but the timeline is still a bit murky. (Last Updated June 14) — Destiny Lugardo

  • Noah Song (low back strain)
  • Status: 60-day injured list
  • Song pitched two innings in a simulated game on Tuesday, June 13 in Clearwater, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. He’ll do the same on Thursday, June 15. Rob Thomson told reporters that he’s “pretty close” to beginning a rehab assignment. (Last Updated June 14) — Destiny Lugardo
  • Rhys Hoskins (torn ACL) 
  • Status: 60-day injured list — Out for 7-9 months
  • The Phillies first baseman underwent successful surgery the morning of Thursday, March 30. The club officially announced that his recovery timeline is seven to nine months. Hoskins tore his ACL while trying to field a ground ball during spring training.
  • Hoskins checked in with reporters on June 7. He’s off crutches and is about two weeks away from being cleared to start jogging. It’s a lofty goal, but Hoskins is aiming to return to the lineup as a designated hitter at the beginning October for a potential playoff run. (Last Updated June 8) — Destiny Lugardo

  • Status: 60-day injured list Currently on rehab assignment
