[Volleyball] Ritter Named CCAC Setter of the Year; SXU Places Four on All-CCAC Team

CHICAGO – Sophomore setter Kaleigh Ritter (Tinley Park, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) was named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Setter of the Year and head coach Bob Heersema was named the CCAC Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season for the Saint Xavier University women's volleyball team (23-8, 15-2 CCAC) when the awards were announced by the league office Monday morning after the Cougars won their second straight CCAC Tournament Title Saturday afternoon at the Shannon Center. Ritter is the third SXU setter to win Setter of the Year, joining Saint Xavier Hall-of-Famer Traci Looby (2004-07), who won in 2007, and Courtney Joyce (2015-17), the 2017 winner. For Heersema, it's the seventh time that he has earned Coach of the Year honors (1989, 1998, 2000, 2011, 2018, 2021 & 2022).
