[Men's Basketball] Warriors Win Double OT Thriller Against Lions

Costa Mesa, CA - On Saturday evening, the Warrior's Men's Basketball team traveled down to Costa Mesa to take on the Lions from Vanguard in what may prove to be the last game played in their historic arena, "The Pit."  This game proved to be a classic GSAS game for the ages, as it went into double-overtime.  With a game that saw 9 different players score in double-figures between both teams, the final score came down to the wire.  As the Warriors held an early lead throughout the first half and into the second, the Lions would prove to surge back late in the 2nd half and extend the game into two overtimes.  LPU ended up coming out victorious by a final score of 93-90, defeating Vanguard for the first time in school history. The Warriors move to 6-11 on the season and 3-7 in GSAC play.
