[Volleyball] Life's Historic Season Ends in Sioux City

SIOUX CITY, Iowa ---- The No. 10 nationally ranked women's volleyball team fell to No. 5 University of Providence in the final match of pool play at the NAIA National Championships Wednesday to end the historic season at a 34-3 overall record. 

The record books will forever remember the 2021 women's volleyball team at Life University, for the precedence and level of excellence they set. The team totaled 34 wins, a win streak of 24 games, seven MSC All-Conference members, the highest national ranking at number 10 (the team had previously only received votes), won its first ever NAIA National Tournament match, advanced to the national championship final site for the first time, earned Setter of the Year within the MSC, Libero of the Year in the MSC and a sweep of the coaching awards in Coach of the Year for Steve Wilcosky and Assistant Coach of the Year for Carlos Soler.
