[Men's Basketball] Hawks Fall to Spirit in GSAC Opener
EL CAJON, Calif. – The San Diego Christian men's basketball team fell to the visiting OUAZ Spirit in their Golden State Athletic Conference opener on Thursday by a score of 48-79. The loss moves the Hawks record to 0-4 on the season and 0-1 in the GSAC.
All game long, the Hawks struggled to get baskets to fall. OUAZ was able to stifle the San Diego Christian scorers, not allowing any player to log double-digits.
SDCC shot 35.2% from the floor compared to the Spirit's 56.9% but outrebounded their opponent 34 to 29.
Cameron Dashiell led the Hawks in scoring, coming in off of the bench with 8 points.
