The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference announced their Scholar Teams on Wednesday for 2020-21. St. Ambrose men's lacrosse took the top mark in the conference with a GPA of 3.160. Teams with the highest grade point average in each sport are designated as conference champions.
St. Ambrose finished the 2020-21 season with a 13-4 record, an NAIA Invitational appearance and finished No. 6 in the NAIA Postseason Coaches' Poll. Six Bees were named to all-KCAC teams for the 2021 season, and Michael Shakerin was Co-Offensive Player of the Year in the conference and was named a second-team All-American.
SAU will be under the direction of first-year head coach Jon Paul in the upcoming season.
