Mets Recall Khalil Lee and Albert Almora Jr From Triple-A
The Mets announced on Wednesday that outfielders Khalil Lee and Albert Almora Jr. have been recalled from Triple-A Syracuse.
With rosters expanding to 28 players the Mets opted to bring back the outfielders after previous stints on the roster this season. Lee appeared in 11 games for the Mets accumulating one hit in 18 at-bats. Almora has logged 39 games with six hits in 49 at-bats.
Lee is currently the No. 8 ranked prospect in the Mets system. Since being sent down on June 1, Lee has batted .252/.466/.504 with a .970 OPS. Lee leaves Syracuse with a 153 wRC+ which ranks 10th among all MiLB outfielders.
The 27-year-old Almora put together a .268/.327/.435 slash line in Syracuse. He played in 37 games.
At the minimum, both should provide plus defense and speed to the Mets bench.

The Mets activated Luis Guillorme off the IL yesterday and optioned Brandon Drury back to Syracuse. The Mets bench core is now Almora, Lee, Guillorme, and catcher Chance Sisco.
