Jacob deGrom threw a side session on Friday, according to Mets manager Luis Rojas, and reportedly felt tightness in his forearm and stopped throwing.

The Mets are assessing him day-to-day while he gets treatment. He won’t resume throwing until the tightness goes away. An MRI showed no structural damage on the forearm.

DeGrom was originally expected to pitch on Monday after Taijuan Walker Sunday. The Mets’ starters are now TBA for both Monday and Tuesday.

Rojas said it was the same tightness that deGrom felt before the All-Star break. For now, it is unknown when deGrom will start again.
