Daniel Theis Out Versus Raptors
A right hip contusion will keep Daniel Theis out of the Chicago Bulls lineup against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday. Theis was initially listed as questionable, but K.C. Johnson confirmed that he would be held out, noting that Tomas Satoransky remained a game-time decision.

Theis has appeared in 23 games for the Bulls this season, starting 14 of those. He’s been a consistent part of the lineup, hitting between 21 and 33 FanDuel Fantasy Points in six straight games. Look for Lauri Markkanen to be moved into the starting rotation and get his 26th start of the season.
Markkanen has thrived in the starting lineup, averaging 17.3 points per game and collecting 6.0 rebounds. FanDuel has Markkanen’s salary listed at $3,700 on the main slate. Although he doesn’t get as many looks as he used, his inexpensive salary makes him an attractive option against the ineffectual Raptors.
The Bulls are priced as -10.5 favorites against the Raps. The total implies that this should be a defensive struggle as the total is set at 215.5, the lowest total on the board.
