Nationals Activate OF Juan Soto Off IL
The Washington Nationals announced that the reinstatement of outfielder Juan Soto off the injury list. Soto was initially diagnosed with a left shoulder strain but now looks ready to go after receiving the green light from Washington’s training staff.
The Nationals will still take some precautions as they’ve decided to keep him out of the lineup on Tuesday in an attempt to ease him back into action. Soto, however, will be available for pinch-hitting duties if needed.

Through 14 games this season, he’s hitting .300 with two home runs and eight runs batted in.
The Nationals are somehow atop the NL East at 12-12 despite a 1-5 start to the season. They’ll carry a four-game winning streak into their divisional series with the Braves at Nationals Park.
