Malcolm Brogdon Ruled Out Monday

0 18

Tony East reports Malcolm Brogdon will miss Monday’s matchup between the Indiana Pacers and Washington Wizards due to a hamstring injury.

Monday will be Brogdon’s second consecutive game missed because of the injury, last playing in the Pacers 130-113 loss to the Brooklyn Nets on Apr. 29, scoring one point, four rebounds, and two assists in 12 minutes of play. This season, starting in 56 games for the Pacers, Brogdon has averaged 34 minutes, 21 points, five rebounds and six assists per game.

Expect Domantas Sabonis to see an uptick in production with Brogdon out of the lineup. Priced at $9,500 on FanDuel, Sabonis has a 24.2% usage rate and averages 1.30 fantasy points per minute in 362 minutes this season without Brogdon. In 54 games this season, Sabonis has averaged 36 minutes, 20 points, 12 rebounds and six assists per game. He returned to the court on May 1, after missing two weeks due to an injury, playing 30 minutes, scoring 26 points, 19 rebounds and 14 assists in a 152-95 win against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Pacers are a 4.5-point road underdog against the Washington Wizards on FanDuel Sportsbook in a game with a 245.5 total, the highest on the slate.
