Kyle Lowry to Start Monday
Kyle Lowry will start for the Toronto Raptors in the matchup with the Detroit Pistons Monday, after missing one game due to a sore foot, Toronto Raptors play-by-play announcer Matt Delvin reports.
Lowry sat out of Sunday’s 122-117 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers, last playing in a 104-100 loss to the Phoenix Suns Friday. He played 35 minutes, scoring 11 points, five rebounds and six assists.
Priced at $6,500 on FanDuel, Lowry is third on the team in usage with a 21.7% usage rate, behind Fred VanVleet and Pascal Siakiam. Starting in 38 games this season, he has averaged 35 minutes, scoring 17 points, five rebounds and seven assists per game.
Lowry’s return to the rotation will impact the newly acquired Gary Trent Jr., who started Sunday, playing 28 minutes, scoring six points and seven rebounds.
The Raptors are a 5-point road favorite against the Detriot Pistons on FanDuel Sportsbook, in a game with a 216.5 total. This season, the Pistons have allowed 110.9 points to opponents this season, playing at a 97.4 possession per game pace.
