[Women's Soccer] Tigers host Saints in MSC Opening Round

Georgetown College women's soccer starts postseason play 7 pm Tuesday night with a Mid-South Conference Opening Round game. The Tigers (6-7, 4-7) finished eighth in the league this year and will host Thomas More University. The winner advances to the quarterfinal round to be played Friday in Columbia, Ky. A one-time seed reshuffle will occur at the quarterfinal round so that the lowest seed remaining plays the regular season champion and on down.

GC defeated the Saints (3-9, 3-8) 3-0 in Georgetown on March 11 in the regular season meeting. These two met in the opening round a season ago and the Saints in a rain-soaked game got the better of that showdown.
