CHICAGO – Junior guard Maia Fawcett (Queens, N.Y./Queens College/Progress) scored a game-high 20 points on 7-for-12 shooting from the field as No. 19 Saint Xavier University women's basketball (14-1, 10-0 CCAC) cruised to a 104-62 victory over Holy Cross College (Ill.) in a CCAC contest Saturday afternoon at the Shannon Center in Chicago. Fawcett was also a perfect 6-for-6 from the foul line and had five rebounds, three assists and three steals. The Cougars shot a season-best 52.3 percent (41-for-77) from the field and dished out 23 assists. It was also the fourth time this season that SXU has surpassed the century mark.
