CHICAGO – Junior guard Brianna Flayter (Hales Corners, Wis./Saint Thomas More) scored a career-high 24 points on 10-for-16 shooting from the field to help lead No. 20 Saint Xavier University women's basketball (9-1, 5-0 CCAC) to 102-76 victory over Trinity Christian College (Ill.) in a non-conference contest Saturday afternoon at the Shannon Center. Flayter was 4-for-7 from deep and also had five rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks. The Cougars continued to display fine passing as they had 32 assists for the second consecutive game and are now averaging 20.8 assists per game through 10 games this season.
