[Men's Volleyball] Tigers battle in three-set loss
Georgetown College men's volleyball started the inaugural season with a battle on the road against NCAA Division I Quincy University. The Tigers showed a lot of grit against the veteran program – a team since 1994 – but came up short 15-25, 10-25, 20-25. GC is back in action 5 pm Friday at Lindenwood University.
The Hawks (2-0) raced out early, siding the Tigers (0-1) out on its first service and rolled up four more points on serve before siding out on a service error following a GC timeout. The Tigers scored its first non-error point off a kill from Ryan Gunn and then showed great heart to rally from a 7-2 deficit to be in set one, 9-7.
