[Volleyball] Butterworth Named to 2020 Preseason All-KCAC Volleyball Team

WICHITA, Kan. — Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference head volleyball coaches have selected the 2020 Preseason All-KCAC Volleyball Team. This group is made up of returning 2019 first and second-team All-KCAC performers.

Carmin Butterworth (SR/Wichita, Kan.) was named to the 2020 Preseason All-KCAC Volleyball Team after being named an All-KCAC Second Team defensive specialist a season ago. Butterworth proved to be one of the best defensive specialists in not only the KCAC but in the NAIA, as she led Sterling with 682 digs to move into second all-time on the career digs list at SC. She ranked 2nd in the KCAC in Digs and 12th in the NAIA in Total Digs to finish the regular season. Butterworth also ranked 26th in Digs per Game nationally with 5.5 and led SC in aces with 35. She was also named the NAIA Defender of the Week early in the 2019 season and is only the second Lady Warrior in school history to earn the award.
