[Women's Lacrosse] Women's Lacrosse officially becomes 27th NAIA Championship Sport

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA National Administrative Council (NAC) announced that Women's Lacrosse has been made the Association's 27th championship sport and will conduct its first National Championship Tournament on May 8, 2021, at Memorial Stadium in Savannah, Ga.

"It is very exciting to hear of the NAIA's approval of women's lacrosse as a Championship sport," said Benedictine women's lacrosse head coach Amanda Magee. "This has been a labor of love for so many administrators, coaches, and players alike.

"There is nothing better than seeing the opportunities grow for so many young women across the country to continue their lacrosse careers at the next level. I am looking forward to the continued growth of NAIA lacrosse."
