[Softball] TIGERS KEEP MOMENTUM ROLLING AT TUCSON INVITATIONAL

Tucson, Az. – The Tigers grab two more wins at the Tucson Invitational to extend their streak to eight games. The squad started with a rematch of the game from Tuesday night against Texas Wesleyan. After giving up a quick run in the first inning, the Tigers would wake up and score all six of their runs between the second and fourth innings. Felicia Wacasey (SR/Crown Point, Ind.) would lay down a sacrifice bunt to score Kelly Rinker (SR/St. Charles, Ill. ) to tie up the game. Then in the following inning, Rinker and Wacasey would both score and drive in runs to extend their lead. The Tigers would give up a consolation run in the sixth inning, but it was not enough as they would win by a score of six-two.
