[Women's Basketball] Saints Fall on Road

Davenport, Iowa.  The Holy Cross College women's basketball team returned to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference action today when they traveled to Iowa to take on St. Ambrose University. After a strong first quarter, the Saints took an 18-16 lead after the first 10 minutes of action. Early in the second quarter, Holy Cross extended their lead to five, but a strong shooting effort by the Bees, to end the half, found the Saints down 44-29 entering halftime. Holy Cross struggled to score in the second half, and would fall 90-63. With the loss, women's basketball falls to 8-18 overall and 7-11 in the CCAC while SAU improves to 13-12 and 11-7.
