WBSC unveils new Promo Video for U-23 Baseball World Cup
LAUSANNE, Switzerland — The World Baseball Softball Confederation released the Official Promotional Video for the U-23 Baseball World Cup® 2016, which opens on 28 October in Monterrey, Mexico.
The U-23 World Cup branded teaser incorporates an exciting international feel that spotlights the 12 participating nations and the following theme:

- The Next Generation of Stars Will Collide
- For the Title of World Champion
- Road to PREMIER12® 2019
The video portrays the intense drama, action and emotion of international baseball – from the fan’s perspective and from the perspective of the players competing for their nations’ flags on the world stage. And with the U-23 Baseball World Cup awarding the most ranking points of any international baseball event in 2016, the results in Monterrey will play a key role in qualifying for the flagship PREMIER12 in 2019.
The promo video has generated over 40k views within the first 24 hours of its release.
