[Women's Tennis] Unbeaten start snapped in loss to Loras

St. Ambrose saw its unbeaten start come to an end with a 7-2 loss to an always-talented Loras team Tuesday afternoon at the Davenport Assumption tennis courts.
The Bees were able to scratch out a pair of singles wins.
Meg Chadick earned a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles, and Elizabeth Bush prevailed in a third-set super-tiebreaker 6-2, 2-6, 10-6 at No. 3.
Chadick and Bush nearly earned a doubles point but the duo fell 8-7 (10-8) at No. 1 doubles.
SAU, now 4-1 overall, will close out the fall portion of its schedule next Thursday at Cornell. That dual in Mount Vernon, Iowa, is slated to start at 4 p.m.
